The goals of the group are:
-- Provide an adequate glossary for terms relevant for Verification and Validation in the context of automated drilling systems.
-- Develop definitions, provide recommendations on how to achieve verification and validation when multiple automated functionalities are involved in automated drilling systems.
-- Investigate and define a conceptual framework for formal verification of consistency in data and features when multiple automated functionalities are involved in the context of automated drilling systems.
Note: It is not the goal of the Verification and Validation Subcommittee to qualify the different advisors/models in automated drilling systems.
